EVEN CLASS PERIODS → Wednesday, November 20, 2024. Time: 5 – 6:30 PM
Join Ames High students and teachers for an exciting opportunity to learn about the vital watersheds that support our environment! Our students will be showcasing their work on watershed health for the Ioway, Skunk, and Mississippi River Watersheds. This exhibition is open to students’ families, guardians, and the Ames community and takes place at Ames High School.
Educational goals for this project are simple yet powerful: Create fun and engaging Earth & Space Science experiences for our students. Encourage students to conduct self-driven science and share their findings with the community. Empower students to take action on environmental issues, fostering hope through education, skill development, and community connections. Come support our students as they present their work and show how we can all roll up our sleeves and make a difference for our watersheds!
